Meet Your Instructor
Fyiona Yong is an executive leadership coach, TEDx speaker, author, and Founder of Wholistic Coachsulting. A Malaysian-born Third Culture Kid who grew up in Germany and built her career across Europe, North America, and Asia, she understands firsthand what it means to navigate different cultural expectations in the workplace. Before founding her own consultancy, Fyiona spent 14 years at Royal Dutch Shell, where she held global leadership roles, led large-scale transformation initiatives, and became one of the youngest Global Heads of Customer Operations. Today, she has coached and trained more than 18,000 professionals across 18 countries, partnering with organisations including Microsoft, HSBC, Chanel, Siemens, AIA, and BASF. As the author of How to Thrive as a Misfit and host of The Thriving Misfits podcast, Fyiona is passionate about helping Asian professionals stop trying to fit into leadership models that weren't designed for them. Through practical frameworks, coaching insights, and real-world experience, she empowers leaders to embrace their cultural strengths, build influence, and lead with confidence in global workplaces.
